The Innovation Assessment is based upon a series of questionnaires and interviews designed to assist management to measure, manage and develop innovation throughout their organisation. There are specific factors that are taken into account when creating a truly innovative organisation, which we have called the "seven dimensions of innovation". The assessment is based on these seven areas and will stimulate both innovation and enterprising activities, whilst enhancing organic growth from within. The initial assessment forms an overall picture of the organisation's innovative culture. It creates a scale of innovation in each of the seven areas. It highlights areas that act as barriers to innovation and growth and we draw on these results to create a strategic way forward. Working in partnership with each client we then assist in developing strategies designed to strengthen the weak areas, ensuring innovation is implemented successfully and structured growth is achieved. This involves elements of consultancy and facilitated workshops to help each client develop and embed their strategies into the organisation. The approach may be broad and cover all aspects of the organisation or may concentrate on particular departments or teams. The Innovation Assessment should be undertaken as the basis of creating an innovative culture and be carried out again twelve to eighteen months later to monitor progress made.
